I know about the 5 Seasons on Guilford and Cameos on Harford Road but I would like more ideas for a party I plan to hold for my fiance's birthday party in May.

Is it just a hangout for regulars? Some places you go to if you're not a regular you just get stared at.

I love Rosemary's on Sahara for gourmet American, Boa at Caesar's is a fun place to go for good food, too, Food Express on Decatur & Oakey for Chinese and for a quick, late, inexpensive bite ... can't beat Roberto's on Vegas & Rainbow. What say you?

I prefer non-chain restaurants, with a bar and reasonably priced.
Also, needs to be open on Sundays.
Thank you!

On a recent vaction to Myrtle Beach we ate ate Jackalope's. There were a total of 8 of us. Two of the meals were really bad, two so so and four were good. When we tried to talk to the idiot manager he accused us of trying to get free meals and didn't know what good food was, after all his cook was trained and we weren't.
Anybody have similar experience?

If you are about to say Grimaldi's, please don't answer. I've already tried that place and I thought it was just a tourist trap.

Does anyone have any ideas for my bf and I? We are trying to go to a nice restaurant (doesn't matter the price), and maybe a lounge, comedy club ... or nice bar to go to afterwards. Or any suggestions on what to do after dinner? I'm looking in the DC metro area. We are trying to do something different, rather than the regular clubs/bars atmosphere.....
