DT-UT on the Upper East Side is very "Friends" like, with couches and comfy chairs and what not.

Grey Dog Coffee - Carmine Street in the Village - more tables and chairs, but a similar vibe, very small and lots of locals

You are aware that "Friends" was a television show? Every single thing about the show - from their apartments to their phantom jobs they never showed up at to the coffee shop they hung out in - was a Hollywood fantasy version of New York City.
