I am not sure why you are specifically asking about Applebee's, but I have an inkling. One of the most popular scams & virus spreading e-mails out there are about Applebee's. They claim that if you do such and such a thing, that Applebee's will do something charitable, or at least nice, in return. It is so widespread that The Applebee's web site has a special section about it. Large for-profit corporations are not really required to help with charities, or the community in general. Most of them do it because it is the right thing to do, and hell .... it is good for business!

well they give people jobs and food to eat i guess. as for charity, idk what exactly its for because i wasnt paying too much attention but you know when you go in places and you see things that people have signed and it says "so and so gave money towards insert charity here"? ours does something like that, i think it might have been to help kids get school supplys because they were shaped like apples and i think i saw a picture of a ruler and a bottle of glue on them.

Applebee's helps millions of people lose weight every year because every time someone eats there they puke. I mean really...the food is AWFUL.
