Detroit has Greektown, and a few good restaurants there. Do you like going to greek food restaurants?

I was watching this episode of 40$ a day on Food Network hosted by Rachael Ray and she was in Washington, DC I believe. Anyways, to travel she used this scooter type thing. It had two big wheels and it was pink all over. All she had to do was lean forwards a little bit and the scooter would begin driving.
Does anyone know what these are called and where (and if) they're avaliable to purchase?

I'm looking to find a neat place to take a date on. I don't want anything terribly expensive, but maybe somewhere kind of quiet with a good wine menu?

I'm about to move there in a few months and I'm dying for some good clam chowder. Having ate some when I was a wee lad in Oregon many years ago, I thought it was fresh and tasty. So where exactly can I find good clam chowder in Portland?

If you've been a server in a restaurant, tell me about it. How crazy does it get back there in the kitchen? Would u recommend a server job to anyone?

So yesterday i visited the old spaghetti factory in Denver. Well we waited 15 mins to get seated and this guy brought us cheese bread we didn't order we thought it was the normal bread so we ate it. Then in another 15 mins are waitress can to get are order well my sister is older then 12 and wanted a kids meal and so she said she couldn't do it and we were like okay thats fine we don't want you to get in trouble, so we gave her are order. Then we had to wait another 20mins for are drinks and the lady brings us are salads at the same time and throws it front of us and then tells us were lucky we don't have to pay for the damn cheese bread. So were like can we talk to your manager? While shes getting her manager my sister fines a huge hair in her salad! So we tell the manager and hes like it's cause you couldn't order off the kids meal isn't it? We were like no its how rude she was and the hair in the salad. Then he laughs at us and tells us he'll pay for her meal so we left

I hope those of you who do realize that you're just revealing beforehand that you're too cheap to order a double and probably won't tip much even if it is a heavy pour. Hint: order a double, tip well, and you will see returns on subsequent rounds.

I mean simple like pasta and marinara sauce, gnocchi, veal marsala. Stuff like the Italians make generation after generation. Not the trendy crap like pesto sauce, etc.

I'm going to be in Albuerquerque, NM in a few weeks for a conference. I will be staying in the downtown area and I'm wondering of possible cheap (like $10 or under), but good resturants that I can possibly checkout that are in that area. I'm NOT looking for major chains such as Applebees or TGI Fridays...I want something that's geared more towards the locals.

Thanks!
