Anyone know any nice and cozy restaurants I can take my wife to in the Southbay area ?(Torrance / PV / Redondo / Manhattan / Gardena etc) Preferably romatic but not too pricey. Maybe around $20-$35/person. ( I don't drink)
It doesn't have to be a formal place either.
Just someplace we can go to on friday nights and eat good food.
Italian / Meditteranian / American food etc. Anykind of food welcome except for Asian.
I've been to most of the good Asian restaurants.

i've always heard that you have to wash dishes, but wouldn't you just be taking the person's job that already works there?

We're going with some friends to this area in October...have been there quite a few times before, but we're always looking for good new places to eat. We've been to "Down the Hatch" and another one that was "Harbor" something. Thanks!

It is a family resturant and one of only two in existence. (Both in Houston, TX). They have the most wonderful Empanadas. They also make a ranch and cillantro dip that is heaven on earth. I keep begging them to come to my area but so far, they haven't.
