Anyone know any nice and cozy restaurants I can take my wife to in the Southbay area ?(Torrance / PV / Redondo / Manhattan / Gardena etc) Preferably romatic but not too pricey. Maybe around $20-$35/person. ( I don't drink)
It doesn't have to be a formal place either.
Just someplace we can go to on friday nights and eat good food.
Italian / Meditteranian / American food etc. Anykind of food welcome except for Asian.
I've been to most of the good Asian restaurants.

For Mediterrean you might try Petros in Manhattan Beach. Really good Greek food, and, unlike most SoCal Greek places, a little bit nicer than a hole in the wall. (Nothing wrong with those, but I get the feeling you want something a bit nicer this particular evening.)

It is on the pricier side of your price range, but if you aren't drinking I think you won't go over.

Have you been to Gina Lee's Bistro in Redondo Beach? Its off PCH and PV Blvd... near Riviera Village.

Its not very pricey and they take reservations.

I know you said no asian, but this isn't an Asian restaurant but a fusion one. The menu items may have items stemming from Asia but with a Californian flair

The Southbay are l. a.'s coastline cities. The Westside is extra urnbanized inland close to UCLA and the leisure marketplace. My sister lived in Lomita, Torrance and Redondo coastline. She loved it there. I truly have some acquaintances in West l. a., Culver city, Burbank, and Valley Village. they prefer it there.
