In NYC there are a TON. I like Josies on the Upper West Side. On the Upper East Side is Candle 79. Down in the Village is Pure Food and Wine. Check out newyork.citysearch.com.

Nope, but they're is an amazing soul food one in Atlanta. Great Southern cooking made in a healthy and completely meat and egg free way!
But yea there are a ton in NYC and thats only about an hour and 45 minute to 2 hour and 15 min drive away.
