Many Japanese restaurants have dining rooms called "Tatami" rooms. All that is, is a room that has a raised floor and the floor has a large mat made with straws. On top of it, there are square pillows called "Zabuton." Those rooms are usually made semi-private by half walls.

Just call Japanese restaurants in the area and ask if they have "Tatami Rooms."

I go to Hibachi Japan in the Akron area often, but I don't think they have the lil pillows on the floor. They are delicious, unless you're allergic to seafood. They cook everything in the same area...my mother ended up in the ER after eating there! Hasn't kept me from going back, though.

There's a place in Warren called Yamato that is extemely good. They cook at your table--you don't sit on the floor, but it's a great experience.
