There is no such thing.

A lunch at a 3 Michelin star restaurant could set you back 800$ But that's just lunch. Ask the same cook to do something expensive.... who knows what he can come up with.

My hubbys resturant sells a burger called the $5,000 burger..
It's a burger with a bottle of wine and really the wine is what costs $5,000. He has worked there for almost a year and they have only sold a handful...but it sure makes the $100 burger seem like a bargain!! LOL

See the story pasted below
But leave it to Las Vegas to be a bit more extravagant than anywhere else. Best of Award of Excellence-winner Fleur de Lys, in Mandalay Bay, has introduced the FleurBurger 5000, which costs, you guessed it, $5,000. Chef Hubert Keller tops his Kobe burger with foie gras and black truffles and serves it on a brioche truffle bun with a special truffle sauce. The dish is accompanied by a bottle of Château Pétrus 1990, and you even get to keep the Ichendorf Brunello stemware, which is shipped home for you. Not to worry, you won't bring your bill up to $10,000 if two want the treat. "As soon as someone orders the FleurBurger 5000, and there is someone else dining with them, they can also have the burger for no extra charge," says restaurant general manager Philippe Tosques. The Pétrus and burger, he adds, is "a combination that really is flawless." Lest you think you need to get lucky at the poker table, the burger without the Pétrus is available for $75.

Well...........I would say a meal I prepared for 80 people that cost over 3.2 Million would have to come close.

I am a personal chef and am hired by celebs and people with more money than God to cater dinners and parties.

Once client flew me to their mountain lodge along with $50,000 worth of lilies and orchids to prepare a feast for their anniversary party.

The grounds were fabulously decorated. There was an orechestra in the gazebo overlooking the river. The night air was cool and calm and the stars were brilliant.....Dinner went off without a hitch.............appetizers, drinks, soups, salads, bison prime rib, braised duckling breast, caribou k bobs, fresh salmon siviche..........it was wonderful.

Time for the renewing of the Vows and he presentation of Dessert...........a Glroious Backed Alaska Wedding cake (7 tiers!)

In a perfect situation..........and it WAS ALMOST perfect....the layers were to be quickly removed from the freezer and stacked while a quart of brandy was warming on the stove. At the cue we were to pour the brandy on the top layer and ignite it as we exited the service room and onto the veranda................

What happens?..........we were in position...........applause starts......curtains pulled back as the brandy is applied to the cake.......the person with the butane lighter was standing TOO close for the brandy's comfort!!! Ka WOOSH!!! All eyebrows within four feet vanished..........we were dazed and could think of only getting the darn thing outside. Of course........You cannot push a cart from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds. The cart left the room but the cake stayed! Hit the wall....inginted the curtains and all Heck broke loose.

The lodge was 30 miles from the nearest town (18 pop - with a volunteer fire department)

When the firemen arrived......they joined the guests on the riverbank with the orchestra and full bar.........enjoying a $3,000,000 bonfire...........average cost of each meal: $380,000 per plate.............and they thought it was a BARGAIN!!!!
