I am interested to see what Sacramentans consider to be the best in dining (fine or not). The restaurant can have great food and crappy service -- what I care about is how much the food inspires you.

I am new to the area and want to know what others like.

Where is a good place to dine and dance to music from the 50' and 60's ? No bars or hole in the wall, some where a person can enjoy and have fun, no problems.

I did. I felt sorry for him, so I motioned for him to come over and I whispered in his ear that his pants were unzipped. Would you tell your waiter that? I hope I didn't embarrass him, but what would be worse? Walking around taking orders all night with your zipper down or having a woman tell you?

We just moved to Nashville from Chicago. No Sonics in Chicago. Is the customer suppose to tip? My wife says no, I say yes. What is the norm?

I bought some mochi in california at trader joe's, but since there aren't any of those around here, i wondered if there was anywhere that someone had seen some. it's a ball of ice cream wrapped in a dough that is delicious!
