Oddly enough there is a restaurant in Houston that is called The Hobbit Hole I believe. I could be wrong on the name but it's Hobbit in nature. It's very good.

well its not actually in houston its in galveston but think of enjoying the ride and getting here and seeing the beach and then all the gorgeous big beach houses on the west end...and then happen on this little quaint spot called playa de loro, the self serve salsa bar...the incredible margaritas...the cold beer...the great burgers...the sizzling fajitas...the good music playing....ahhh the shrimp enchiladas....the friendly owner, cook and staff who will invite you into the kitchen or the office to google something on the computer....and its only 12 tables in the place stuck off in the corner of the shopping strip well enough, if you think you are interested check out the webite below and mention that you went to the website and you will even receive a free parrot beaks appetizer when there, what are they? little jalepenos stuffed with shrimp and crab and cheese and then battered and deep fried....

Dager35 is correct - It's called The Hobbit Hole - it has some vegetarian fare plus other normal stuff. It's a cute place. It's inside the loop off of West Alabama, I think.

There's a great greek place down off of Montrose called Niko Niko.

THe Hobbit Hole is indeed good. If you like Greek food then I definitely recommend Niko Niko's on Montrose right by Westheimer. If it's a nice day sit out on the patio area.
