Is it out of date and u think it might not be good..Do they think there is a reason it might not be good...I hate when they ask that question..I had my own restaurant but would never have wanted my employees to ask that.I know at some place they have the m to ask BUT i don't like it

We just moved here from L.A. and are looking for good restaurants in the area. We're open to various types of cuisine so any restaurants you provide would be awesome. I'm looking for answers from someone also from L.A. I've come to realize that native Arizonans don't really know good food. I don't mean to be rude, but someone from L.A. would know our palette a little better.

A couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend, his brother and I went to a Chinese buffet for lunch. His brother got there before we did and started eating and when we got there, we also started eating. Anyway, his brother had to leave to go to work before we were ready to leave and he asked the lady for the bill. She brought it and it had all three meals on it and he told her that we weren't paying together and after he finally got it through to her what he was trying to say, she said $10 (which was actually more than his share of the bill) and went on to say that the $10 didn't include her tip. I personally thought that this was quite rude of her and that a tip was a gratuity and not a must. I personally would have only given her the tip of telling her not to be so rude as to ask for a tip, but he still gave her a $3 tip. What would have you done?

They all say to take a brief survey about your visit. In return, you'll be entered into a weekly drawing for $1,000 or more. Limit 1 entry every 6 weeks. Are there really winners, or is this the store's way of getting more people to complete the surveys?
