Breakups happen. That's life. It hurts to lose someone you love. That's also life. It sounds like you left on a bad note. Try calling him in a week or so and see if you can resolve your anger. If you both do decide to break up, at least it will be an amicable break and you will both feel better by ending things on a mature level.

He's obviously in a bad mood and doesn't want to be bothered. I am kind of the same way with my girlfriend when she wants to talk for hours when I'm in a bad mood. I just want to be left alone, so do the same for him. Let him call back and apologize.

He was probably just upset with the goodbyes, many people don't handle things like that well and say things they don't mean. Its hard to answer, you didn't say much about why you were leaving or what was going on, but that would be my guess.

I assume by saying "goodbye" you mean that you were breaking up with him. He was probably lashing out because you hurt him. You are obviously very upset....If you feel bad and want to talk to him, then call and apologize...or, better yet, try to talk to him in person....good luck.

...yeah either you did something that made him mad, or he's doing something wrong with you behind your back (or another girlfriend besides you)'s back...thats pretty dirty.
