Papa Christo's is worthwhile. The gyro is great, and the pita warm and freshly made. Unassuming, and it also is a Greek grocery and deli counter, so you can stock up for your later needs.

At Marouch on Santa Monica Blvd. To die for Gryos. It's a Lebanese restaurant - nice decor, fantabulous food. I'd tell you to go and tell the owner I sent you, but he hasn't a clue who I am. All he knows is that when my sister and I go there, he serves us our regular meal without even asking - and yes, it's the Gyro plate. Go. Enjoy. Come back to this site and thank me a million times over for sharing the delicious experience.
