Try any good deli...
Such as Jerry's Deli on Ventura Blvd in Studio City, or Fromin's on Wilshire in Santa Monica, or Brent's on Parthenia in Northridge.

Trader Joe's sells delicious potato pancakes. Not a restaurant, but if you really want some yummy ones, it's an option. There are usually great restaurants listed in free publications like OC Weekly or the San Diego Reader (I'm not sure what your zip's version of this is, but I am sure they have one).

Go to the House of Pies near Griffith Park.

They have a potato pancake and corned been hash breakfast that is so deliscious, you will think about it for a month after.
