i would say on a first date (if he asked you out) that he should pay. if things are going well and you have a 2nd date, offer to pay! it will make his day.

i did this with my ex and it became where we each paid ever4y other time we went out. i dont' feel a guy should have to pay all time. if you are both into each other, why not take turns paying ... you are both having a great time and most definately are enjoying each other's time.

The person that asks for the date should pay. If the guy asks the girl out then he should pay. If the girl asks the guy out then she should pay.

How rude is it: “Will you buy me dinner?”

If you really want to be with them, then take the money out of the situation.

If you are married you bet, unless it's his birthday, fathers day. Is this a date ?? if not go 50/50 on the bill, might be nice to talk about this before you get to the restaurant

Not every single time. Taking turns is fine, and even spliting the bill is fine too. But it is a MUST on a first date.

Proper etiquette dictates that the person who asks for the date pays for the date. Blind dates are commonly split (Dutch).
