Dining Out - September 2007

I will be in Houston on my birthday and would like to find a decent restaurant in NW Houston for dinner. We have small children, so I need somewhere that (a) is family friendly and (b) will take reservations, I don't want to keep the kids entertained while waiting for a table on a Saturday night.

I don't eat pork because pigs are filthy animals. My real issue is that why do fast food chains such as McDonald's only make breakfast sandwiches with sausage patties and not with beef patties. Beef tastes much better than pork in my opinion. So why can't I get a Beef McMuffin?

I recently dined at a very well known restaurant in Manhatten NY.
During lunch I observed the bread basket being returned to the bread cutter with uneaten bread in it. It was added too and placed on other tables.
I was disgusted and refused to eat any bread, but my dining partner didn't see a problem with it.
I'd be interested to hear what others think.

I'm having a sweet sixteen and I really want to have it at FELT Boston and I'm wondering if anyone knew the rough cost of what that would be? We'd just rent out the 3rd floor and have them serve virgin drinks at the bar with light appetizers. I'm just wondering what the price is for that kind of thing considering it's a nice venue. I'm not looking to be a My Super Sweet 16 girl, I just want a nice party that can fit all my friends/family for dancing/socializing.
