This wave of "family" type fast restaurants. Who were the first?
I remember in the 80's there was,
bennigans, ponderosa, tgif, Bob Evans
That was about it.
anyone remember eary family fast food restaurants?

yea, dennies. i believe that was round in the 80

Frisch's Big Boy. Shoney's, BBF (Burger Boy Foodarama), I can't remember anymore, right now....

Perkins? Forgot about it. Was there a Bonanza? It was like Ponderosa...

What about Perkins, IHOP, Denny's, and Country Kitchen to name a few. I don't know if I would call these "family", but "Diner" food.

Golden Corral, Furr's, and Luby's Cafeteria have been around since I was a baby. That's almost 30 yrs. ago.

I can still remember sitting in my high chair at Luby's!
