I love to hit a HIGH-END sushi bar... a couple of the sushi bars in NYC are 5 star zaggat rated, and one piece costs upwards of 16 bucks, but can I tell you something...? If you have one special meal in life, this is it... you have never had sushi til you go to NYC, the fish is right from Fulton Street, and the sushi is SUBLIME. And, you pick and choose what you want.. You will want to break the bank at these two "rare" places... two in town to note; but can't mention their actual names, lest I sue them for royalties, hahaha. Oh, no Hazy, not afraid, not me.

Second choice; American Diners, wow. Breakfast served all day, and portions are what are responsible for making us all FATSO'S. So I surf High and Low for my fodder...

I like sit-down restaurants where there's a cloth table cloth and cloth napkins best of all. Naturally, such a place serves great steaks and prime rib! Yum!

Yes, they're pricey, but I hate noisy and obnoxious kids in my vicinity when I eat. The nicer restaurants usually don't have a lot of people there with brats.

Ideally, they have "Bananas Foster" on the dessert menu, too, LOL!

The churrascaria is my preference.

A churrascaria is a Brazilian steakhouse. Churrasco is the cooking style, which translates roughly from the Portuguese for 'barbecue'. However, in order to avoid confusion, it is important to state that in the rest of South America other than Brazil, the 'barbecue' method of cooking meat is known as asado.

Distinctly a South American style rotisserie, it owes its origins to the fireside roasts of the gaúchos of southern Brazil. In modern restaurants, rodizio service is typically offered. Passadors (meat waiters) come to your table with knives and a skewer, on which are speared various kinds of meat, be it beef, pork, filet mignon, lamb, chicken, duck, ham (and pineapple), sausage, fish, or any other sort of local cut of meat.

I like mostly all resturants. I tend to go to denny type resturants and sometimes buffetts or a chinesse place. Also I eat lots of fast food.
