Dining Out - September 2007

I have noticed that some of the McDonald's restaurants have a indoor play place and some don't have an indoor play place. And the McDonald's restaurant here doesn't have one. And it gets very hot and humid here 90-100 degrees here in the Summer. Now I understand that the play places are for kids only. Now the McDonald's restaurants that don't have an indoor play place, I think that all of their restaurants should have one. Now I don't have any children, but I am very concerned about other peoples children, cause some of the children have medical problems, like some kids have seizures, some kids have asthma attacks, some kids can faint or pass out. What do you people think? Now I think, being McDonald's customers that we should complain to the main office. Now please let me know what you think, It will help me out. For Example: If one of those kids were your kids, what would you do, if they were in a outdoor play place at a McDonalds and it is 90-100 degrees. Please answer n a nice way

Ice cream can be expensive...you would think they are selling gold or something. I know an ice cream shop down the road that sells a small cup of hard ice cream with a small cup of coffee for 5 bucks. Outrageous!
I would rather go to McDonald's and for $1.09....cheap and good....get a vanilla cone! No pretension either.
What to you think?

I found this website that was talking all this crap about mcdonalds saying that it was unhealthy and causes obesity and should be shut down. But why? Mcdonalds may not be all that healthy but it only causes people to get fat if they eat too much of it. They always said Mcdonalds make them fat, its their fault for shoving Big Macs to their mouth everyday. If you don't like it, don't go there

I'm planning my dinner menu with a view to no hassle and fuss. I'm thinking:
Monday = Pizza
Tuesday = KFC
Wednesday = McDonald's
Thursday = Arby's
Friday = Chinese take-away
Saturday = Burger King
Sunday = Subway

Can anyone improve on my plan? All suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

I live close, I have experience working in fast food, I'm 19 I go to college with a schedule good for working, I fill out the entire damn 70 question quiz.

WTF is wrong with me

They have a sign on the front of the store that says NO HIRING

Yet I give them my application and go to the interview and then they never talk to me again. I even go back and check on the application a few days after the interview.

Here are the fast food places in my town that serve breakfast. McDonald's, Hardee's, Burger King, Sonic, and there is some new coffee place called Uncommon Grounds. My throat really hurts and I want a cup of hot chocolate without having to go to the store and making it myself. Drive Thru would be great!

I'm going to Richmond and Yorktown next month and I've never been there before. I'm looking for some good places to eat for lunch and dinner in Yorktown on a Thursday, and in Richmond Friday. Most of our day will be spent touring Yorktown on that Thursday, while we'll spend Friday touring the Richmond battlefields. I'd like to keep prices cheap to moderate...no more than $15/20 a meal for dinner. We love seafood and pizza if that's any help. Thanks!
