Your right, and there are two main reasons.
First is cost. years ago, they used to make good food, and collect the money... end of the month, calculate the profit. Now days, Fast Food chains demand a profit margin from their managers... no matter how many quality corners you have to cut. Make it cheap... make it good if you can, but make it cheap.
Next is the health demands. Before the government demanded that our food not kill us, unhealthy ingredients were used to get better taste. now, they take away some of the taste to make it better for us.

It's not you. It's the food. It's pretty much tasteless as far as I'm concerned. Whoppers or Big Macs. That's why I usually just get cheese burgers.

You have got that right. fast food took a turn for the worse on the last five years. I can't tolerate it any more. And the funny thing is that it is not cheap either. Sometimes if you add a couple of dollars you can eat something a lot better than fast food.

Not at your mom & pop fast food but at the large franchise
places YES. Blame it on Corporate for trying to make more money by using less than Grade A products needed to make
the food like they used to.

you are absolutely right. I had a big mac today and it was horrible. this is why I dont even eat fast food (burgers etc) often. I just ate it today because i needed to have food when I took my pills and it was right where I was. but usually if I want something fast, I'll go to subway. they are a little pricey now, but their food is soooo much better

It does seem to be worse...but just look at the type of employees that are working there. It's honest work but at least in my area it seems like they are mostly illegals or stoners. When you do run into a good cashier it's a pleasant surprise. I used to like McDonalds until they started precooking their burgers and keeping them in warmers. Gimme a break!

I think that in order to keep the price low they have had to use lower and lower quality ingredients. Think about it! I know meat has not stayed the same at my supermarket...

I still eat it though... shame on me!!

I swore I would quit after watching the movie "Super Size Me"

It gets worse and worse. I think is the lack of courtesy. How hard is it to check if a take out back has all the necessary condiments and utensils?
