I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a good dim sum place in the Boston area. It'll be my first time actually eating dim sum and I don't know what's good and whats bad. So restaurant suggestions (and addresses) would be nice, as well as things to order. Thank you!

I'm also quite interested in trying the chicken feet, because I read they were yummy. But I was wondering if anyone agrees? Should I order them when I go, or no?

Changsho Restaurant
1712 Massachusetts Ave
Cambridge, MA 02138-1804
Phone: (617) 547-6565
When to Go
Show up early for the area's top all-you-can-eat brunch, served 11:30am-2:30pm every Sunday. The restaurant attracts larger-than-usual crowds for appetizers, dim sum, sushi, entrees and desserts.
Save Money
Stop by Monday through Saturday for a bargain lunch special ($6-$8) that includes a choice of entree, plus appetizer and rice.
Parking
In an almost unheard-of move for a Cambridge establishment, the restaurant offers free parking in a lot across the street.

Have you tried China Pearl in Woburn (right near Washington St and Rt 128 intersection)?
Also Peking Garden in Lexington (on Waltham St in downtown Lexington) has a good dim sum and draws many local Chinese families as repeat customers.

The best overall buy is Emperor Garden on the corner of Kneeland and Washington Street. It's also huge so there's very little wait.
The best quality is China Pearl on Tyler street.
Since this is your first time, I recommend trying the radish cake, shrimp dumplings, shumai (pork dumplings) and the tsang-fen (shrimp or beef paste in a rice noodle wrap).

I've eaten at the China Pearl in Woburn and the one in Chinatown--both were great. (Just had dim sum yesterday!)
I've heard good things about Chiu Chow and Imperial Palace in Chinatown, too.
Be sure to try the sesame balls--so good! Sweet and salty.
Two good web sites about dim sum:
