I am a waitress and many times I am speaking to my guests and they answer their phones or they are text messaging while I am trying to get their order. does anyone else think that is rude? or is that acceptable because everyone does it?

I'm trying to find decent places with dinner plates for $15 or more. Somewhere special- and I don't mean McDonalds special haha.

I'm looking for a good restaurant to take my boyfriend on his birthday, just the two of us. I'm not picky about the cousine. Italian, French or Indian would be great. Something romantic and I don't mind expensive. I need a place that will take reservations and actually have a table waiting for us (in the past I've waited half an hour after my reservation for a table to open up and it put a damper on our anniversary). Any suggestions? His birthday is a little over a month away.

McDonalds are the like often (about once a month) change the toys they give away with meals. What happens to the unused toys? Are they given to employees? Charities? Sold overseas? Is there a process by which a non-profit can request the used toys? Thanks!

America claims that chinese products aren't safe, well what about American ones?
A 100 grams of your famous Ritz biscuits adds 30 grams of fat.
All the Oreos and the Frito Lays that they dump in our country all contribute to nothing but fat.
Fatty foods causes diebities, cancer, stroke and other heart problems.
They should also stop building a fuc*ing McDonalds on all our streets.
They're jealous of China/India's prosperity, well, Americans have been injecting our systems with fat and sucking our money for ages!
The U.S. alone contributes 75% towards the world's global warming, talk about weapon of mass disruction?

Hooters are pretty much hit and miss. You can either get a really super nice Hooters Girl, a bitchy one that's mean, or one that gives poor service and hardly stops at your table. When we get one that is GREAT we always want to tip well. The problem is my significant other wants to tip 25%, which always works out to be $10. (We usually spend $40 on dinner) I on the other hand think we should be tipping $20-40. What is the proper tip for a Hooters girl who goes above and beyond the rest?

is it expensive for a burger to cost 8.80, french fries 3.80, salads from 14 to 20 bucks? or there are cheaper places? (not fast food though)
it's how things cost in 'P.J. Clarke's'.

I use to manage a couple of Wendy's chains. The meat is frozen and we put the meat in the frig a couple of days before it is used. It's like that for Arby's as well. I check with an old buddy of mine who still manages a Wendy's restaurant and he says it's still like that, not only for his store, but across the country.

does anybody now the bar/restaurant called 'P.J. Clarke's'? It's in New Yotk, the co-owner is actor Timothy Hutton. Is it good? Is it expensive?
