I ate a $50 meal at Fats Bistro in Roseville, Ca. It was definitely well worth it and I would return in a heart beat.

My wife and I ate one time a couple of years ago in Des Moines, IA at the 801 Steak and Chop House.

For appetizers...we split a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for $11.

Two salads...$6 each.

She had a pork chop for $29, I had a 12 ounce NY strip for $36.

Our sides...lobster mashed potatoes for $15 and steamed broccoli for $7.

For dessert, split a piece of lava chocolate cake for $10.

With drinks plus tip, spent about $190. The main dishes were worth it...but I thought the sides and salads were mediocre. If I'm spending $15 for lobster mashed potatoes it better be the best mashed potatoes I will ever eat.

My girlfriend and I ate at a 4-5 star restaurant named Bicar in San Francisco.

I paid $120.00 for fresh oyster appetizer, 6oz salmon main course (she had pasta), one glass of wine, and 2 waters.

Totally not worth it...I left starving and with an empty pocketbook. It was an experience.....

It was a restaurant in London, not going to say how much the meal cost but it was ridiculously overpriced. I nearly collapsed when i saw the bill.
