when i tried to store something at school today my flas drive did not work!! it did just fine the day before when i was saving some pictures. there is no light coming from the end nor did the computer pick up the device. it is a sandisk cruzer micro 2 gig. i only put it in the washer 2 times and it worked fine after every time. i didn't drop it at all before it happened. HELP!!

I have an XM roady receiver. I accidentally hit the memory button and the screen said "song info saved" What does this mean? Where did it save it? I don't have the instruction book since It was given to me by someone else. There is also a little light on it. Whats that for? I've never seen it light up before.

sorry. im just a freaking 16 yr old girl who doesn't know who to use warranty card. my little brother recently cracked the inside screen of my camera. can i use the warranty card to replace the screen? do i need to show anything else besides the warranty card? i bought the camera at sim lim square.

We've used Verizon DSL for several years without a problem. Just added Dish Network and our internet has slowed down to about dial-up speed. Dish requires you to stay hooked up to a phone line 24/7 (or else pay $5.99 add'l each month) for pay per view service. I was wondering if maybe that had something to do with the slowdown? Anyone else experienced something like this?

I had cable TV installed 10 days ago, got my first bill on friday and since yesterday I get the message that my SmartCard is invalid (1016) and I cannot watch all the channels. Sometimes it even says there is no SmartCard inserted (1004) but it has not moved since it was installed ... What can I do to rectify ??

Just starting my research, but I want a unit that I can mostly use on my motorcycle so it should be waterproof. I will need it to be preloaded with street level maps or be capable of loading them. I'd also like to occasionally take it hiking so it should be lightweight and have a battery.
Not concerned about voice prompts, color would be nice but not absolutely necessary. Oh, and I'm not wealthy so under a couple hundred is desirable.
Any suggestions where to start?

I have to present a slideshow at a repose on thursday. I know how to make it and all, but i need to present it. I'm going to be able to get a hold of a projector. I am either going to burn the presentation to a dvd and hook a dvd player up to the projector, or hook my laptop up to it. Will either work, will i need any adapters if i have a powerbook G4? Also, what do i do for sound?

I have a set of 1800mAm AA batteries and a charger which came with them. I am looking for more batteries of the same kind so I do not have to buy another charger. But all I am finding are batteries of 2650mAh and 2400mAh. I would like a stronger battery but can I use the same charger? If not will a 2650mAh charger work with my 1800mAh batteries?

I have a project at school to do that requires me to edit an episode of a healthcare related show and follow a legal case through the entire episode without any commercials or other filler information from the episode. If I just record a show on television with my VCR I will have to take that tape somewhere to get it edited down to only what I need so I am curious to know if it is possible to play a movie on your dvd player and record it on your vhs, so that I could do my own editing of sorts. If someone can please tell me if this is possible and how to do it I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

i have a movie thats 35 minutes long and im trying to put it on a dvd+rw thats 120 minutes long but the movie will stop around 30 minutes in, even though the dvd+rw can hold 2 hours of footage. is there a way to lenghthen the dvd or whats the problem here??
