I want to make sure these items don't just end up in a landfill somewhere. Is there any place in the San Francisco area that accepts BROKEN electronics (these items can not be repaired, so no Goodwill-type places) or can guarantee their safe disposal?

I'm debating whether or not i should buy the iPhone when it comes in in a couple of months, or wait to see if they fix the possible bugs and possibly update the Gb(to like 30 or something) because I'm looking to buy an iPod but I need one that holds a lot of music so im not sure if i should just buy an iPod or wait for the iPhone.
Has there been any discussion towards whether or not Apple is thinking about a future model with more space?

Will it damage the compressor of a/c if we keep the setting at low temp. means if the room temp it 35 deg. and we set the temperature to 27 deg. it will cause the a/c to frequently on and off after reaching 2 deg below i.e 25 and will start again at 29 deg .will it consume more electricity. as it is said that a/c draws more electricity and load at the time starting.

The system is made by Geepas electronics and it is still brand new. The more you add the volume the greater the squeaking gets. It gets so irritating that i have resorted to just doing without it 'cause i cannot call it listening to music while there is too much squeaking.

The power consumption of the system is 4000 watts
When connecting it , i connect it to the sound output of my tv set (sony) which in turn i connect to a dvd player (lg). So if i wanted to play music, i have to switch on all the three, letting the theatre deal with the sound, but the squeaking means i have to do away with the woofer system. I feel i need it to enhance my sound quality.........

Please anybody out there help

A

Ok, I have a few 2500 mah AA batteries, a few years old. I wish to test the miliamperage and see what they are at now, how well they have held up. I would also wish to test AAA batteries.

What are some ways i could do this? I do not have any equipment hooked up to my computer and will not buy any unless it is avalible at radioshack for less than $30. I have a voltometer.
