The system is made by Geepas electronics and it is still brand new. The more you add the volume the greater the squeaking gets. It gets so irritating that i have resorted to just doing without it 'cause i cannot call it listening to music while there is too much squeaking.

The power consumption of the system is 4000 watts
When connecting it , i connect it to the sound output of my tv set (sony) which in turn i connect to a dvd player (lg). So if i wanted to play music, i have to switch on all the three, letting the theatre deal with the sound, but the squeaking means i have to do away with the woofer system. I feel i need it to enhance my sound quality.........

Please anybody out there help

try plugging the amp into the dvd player directally! it could be something to do with the terminals on the tv! try also replacing the cables going to the device to the dvd player!! check settings on the tv! some settings on tv's have settings making the sound to the amp to loud!
