Personally I would spend the extra money for a better quality speakers. But if you are looking for good less expensive speakers than visonik would not be a bad choice. I put some specs up for the Visonik V123BP 12" subs and bandpass box. The only problem I have is that the RMS is pretty wide so you really dont get an accurate wattage to continously run your subs at.

Woofer Size (inches) 12 x 2
Woofer Material Spruce pulp
Enclosure Type Bandpass
Color Black
Pieces in System 1
Width (inches) 28-1/2
Height (inches) 15-1/8
Depth (inches) 17-3/8
Second Depth (inches) N/A
Connector Type 5-way posts
Frequency Response 25-400 Hz
Power Range (Watts RMS) 80-600
Maximum Wattage 1200
Sensitivity 93 dB
Impedance 4 ohms
Parts Warranty 2 Years (woofers)
Labor Warranty 2 Years (woofers)

So all in all it is a decent less expensive pair of subs.

I am not familiar with that brand so i can't give you an opinion. If you want the best sound available then i would look for speakers that have a good recommendation by HI FI enthusiasts. How much are you prepared to spend?what is the size of your listening room? What amplifier will you use to drive the speakers?Without this information it is impossible to recommend a particular speaker. However i will make a few suggestions as to their general sound characteristics.

1 British loudspeakers usually have a fairly neutral sound and are happy with all types of music.
2 Speakers from the United States fall into two categories (usually) they are either bright sounding or dull sounding.
3 Speakers from Japan and other oriental countries emphasis(generally) the highs and the lows with a recessed mid range.
4 then there are speakers with a mixture of all the above.

So you can see it is a very complex situation to buy the ones you like .As i said the only way to be sure is to listen to a demonstration before you buy.
I hope you can make some sense of all this and good luck .Regards,Rob.
