alright im so frustrated

i want to get a 17 inch imac it is clearly more superior than a new pc with vista
the only problem is you dont have much choice as far as software goes
ALSO my big tragedy is that pretty much the only good player that works at all with it is an ipod
and the only type of music that works for an ipod is itunes cds or illegaly downloaded music (which isnt an option)
and basically i really like the zune, gigabeat, and creative zen vision m
also there are better music services out there
rhapsody lets you have unlimited music for your mp3 player for a monthly fee and if you want to burn the music to a cd you pay 79 cents per song (itunes is 99 cents)
however itunes does have great video support (movies, musicvideos, etc)
but i dont really like the ipod
so what it comes down to is
i want the imac more than a pc with vista
and i want zune/gigabeat/zvm rather than an ipod (rhapsody more than itunes)

Sorry for the length

So what should i do????????????

After making an inquiry on Ebay as to whether a US (60hz) hair trimmer would be okay running in the UK (50hz) i recieved a reply from the seller informing me that a HZ regulator could be included for additional costs (£70) ($135)

Now i've heard of a volts transformer (which i will also need), but not a HZ regulator.

Are there such devices, that are small, inexpensive and easy to use out there? Thanks

hi i just opened up something to change the batteries and they had white crusty stuff almost caked onto it. I removed the batteries which means i touched it. I don't know if this is an exploded battery or something, but anyway is it bad?

Is their service good? Did you have any problems with the service? Is it better than DirectTV or Cable?

Being a mobile DJ with a nightclubs worth of large equipment I tend to use a lot of plug sockets to power up my gear.

I usually do not have enough extensions to plug all the stuff in I have bought, but recently I visited a venue that had a multitude of sockets on the walls (around 20). Can you overload the mains electricity in a building or is that impossible? I don't want to be the one reponsible for the bill!

Should battery's get refrigerated??? so they last longer?
""Asked by chargerbolts619 - Other - Electronics
Yep! Your spare batteries will generally last longer if you keep them refrigerated. Another helpful hint is to keep them individually wrapped in tin foil while they're just sittin'""
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Couldn't the tin foil wrap make a connection between the positve end and the negative end of the battery?

I have TONS of old batteries and im always trying different combos to try and get them to work even for a second cause i take alot of pictures and each one i can get really makes a difference but it would be nice to know if they were dead before i keep them and keep trying to use them, ya kno? i've tried having one constant battery, then replacing the other one with diff ones and judging power based on that, and sometimes the ones that still have power feel heavier, or that may just be my imagination but does anyone know a way to tell how much power a battery has left?

Have had a lot of problems with my Tomtom One, memory cards are not that good. It suddenly stopped working altogether, started working again but although you can put in an address and it plans a route, it does not speak the directions which is very frustrating as you have to keep looking at the screen. Cannot find any answers on the Tomtom help site either.

At the Best Buy I live near, if you see a product they sell there online for cheaper than they sell it, you can print out the info, and bring it to the store, and they'll give it to you for that price.

I was wondering, if I printed out a 'scam' for something, like for example, a free iPod Video, and I brought it in, do you think they would give me it for free?

-Just wondering.

Please kind and respectful answers only, please.

We can't figure out how to program just the 3 or 4 cities we want to listen to. We have the call numbers and the directions. Just can't seem to figure it out, way to many channels and banks, kinda confusing. We took it back to Radio Shack and they programmed it for us, but we got all 200 channels. I locked out some of the channels, but now it won't scan at all. Is there a handheld scanner out there that is easy to program and not way too expensive?
