Is it possible to connect my suuround sound speakers to my sky plus box? If so how is this possible? Any replies greatefully received!

your sky + box will have opitical out, as long as your sourround system has opticial in, then all you need is an opticial cable ( this will give you 5.1 ch from sky+box ).

If your surround sound doesn't support optical, then you are left with phono ( red and white ) this will give you 2.1

Why don't you connect your TV to the stereo that has the surround sound speakers? Doing it that way is so much better as any programmes on the TV come out of the speakers.
