After making an inquiry on Ebay as to whether a US (60hz) hair trimmer would be okay running in the UK (50hz) i recieved a reply from the seller informing me that a HZ regulator could be included for additional costs (£70) ($135)

Now i've heard of a volts transformer (which i will also need), but not a HZ regulator.

Are there such devices, that are small, inexpensive and easy to use out there? Thanks

Sorry to say, but from the ones I've seen, that's actually inexpensive for something that converts 50 Hz to 60 Hz...

Best of luck to you!

That's stupid. The trimmer will work on 50Hz or 60Hz. The difference will be the frequency of the actuator. The only thing you should worry about is voltage. If the voltage is different, then you need a transformer.
