I want to subscribe to one of these services. I was previously with Lovefilm but when I ran out of money and had to stop the subscription my account was wiped - along with all my dvd selections......

......I have used amazon which does not wipe your account or options when you stop, but it is not unlimited!

Does anyone know which people will meet my needs?

I am going away soon and I would like to bring some portable straighteners as there will not be a mains plug, so can anyone recommend any actually decent portable straighteners at a low-ish price? All of the ones i've searched for had to be put into a charging stand which needs a mains supply itself to actually charge the straighteners!

I bought a dvd recorder/player that is a Divx dvd player. I have some movies on my computer that I want to watch on it that are avi. I got a program yesterday called acala and it stated that it burned movies on to a dvd so you can watch them on the divx player. I burned it and it said unsupported format. Also burned avi in data form with nero. What gives here I bought the thing so I could watch my movies and it still wont do it. What am I doing wrong? What program burns a compatible divx. I dont get it.

P.S. I am not asking how to convert files to play in regular dvd player I know how to do that it takes to long. I thought that divx player would make things easier. Can someone please shed some light? Thankyou

would a psp do the trick? i would like to for example buy a tv show off of itunes and then download it to the device and be able ot watch it as well as download music to it. other than an ipod what would work?

I have a philips DVP3020 DVD player with SCART, composite, coaxial (digital out) and component out. I also have various CRT monitors but no TV.

Can I connect my DVD player to my monitor? I thought I could and bought a scart > vga cable but I get no signal messages on any input type on the (iiyama visionmaster pro 17) monitor. I read something about the refresh rates being incompatible, but I thought I'd at least get something.

Ideally I want to be able to output to any monitor, but I do at some point want to get a good sized TFT that I can use for work and play, I'm just a bit skint right now..

I bought a 1 gig microSD card and it fits in fine into my phone. However, I cant use it at all and when I try to access it it says "Not Allowed"...

Ive looked at the settings everywhere to no avail.

I've just purchased a new computer and I want to transfer my itunes music onto it. Is there a way I can transfer it without burning them all onto cd's, then importing them onto the new computer's itunes?

Each theatre room would have stadium seating and be very spacious. The rooms would have all IMAX screens, blue ray digital projector, and dolbh digital sound. The seating would be leather recliner so you don't have to worry about who gets what arm rest, your butt and back hurting. On these chars there would be plug in one before the movie you want to use yur ipod to listen to and the next will be a plug in for head phones and you would pay to rent it for a movie and it woul be the ones where they block out the sound from the outside because i hate it when people talk during movies and that solves that one. there would sub woofers underneath the seats that u can choose to turn on or off. there would be more selection of candy and chips and there will be beer to order there too. When u have to go to the bathroom there will above the stalls little tv's and u can switch to the movie u r watching so u don't miss a thing. Tell me what you think. help me and criticize me, please.

my birthday is coming up soon and my parents keep asking me what i want and i have absolutely no clue. I like video games, mostly computer games, but im not sure if i want any right now. I love electronics in general. I'm thirteen, and i live in the greater toronto area. Any ideas on a good present? I've already thought about cash, but thats more like a last resort.

i put songs from my computer into a memory card for my phone, but for some reason they are not registering on my phone. The songs are in i-tunes format. the manual says the songs have to be in pip format. What does that mean, and how do i get my songs to be that way? the phone is an LG blue phone from verizon. it is suppose to be a music player as well.

I recently bought a small appliance in Asia (Made in Taiwan), and the instructions say it requires two "No.4 Batteries." I am having trouble judging by the receptacles whether it accepts Size C or D batteries. Is anybody familiar with the battery sizing chart for China/Taiwan?

I accidentally recorded over something on a VHS tape that I wanted to keep. Although it seems to be lost forever, is there any conceivable way to retrieve that which was taped over? Or is it impossible?
