Where is the fuse located? I used it for 5 mins, then after 10 mins. tried to warm up something else and clock works but no cooking..HELP TATTOODEBERA@YAHOO.COM

OK the fuse is located inside the microwave. It would be best not to remove the cover. There is a component inside that stores high voltage. Usually 2000 Volts. It be best to take it to a shop and let them work on it. If that part is still charged and you touch it, it can be fatal.

Now if the fuse blew the clock would not work either. So the problem is deeper than a fuse. It is most likely a heating component. It may be cost effective to by another. Finding parts for an 84 model is not going to be easy. And they can be very expensive.

It's time to replace it. the door seals are better in the newer ones , and the CRT tubes wear out

I'd replace the entire unit. They're pretty cheap these days.
