I just got a hp dvd drive/burner and I burned a movie I made with Windows Movie Maker onto a recordable DVD+R disc and it burned just fine. However when I put the dvd into my Toshiba dvd player,which also works fine and is new, it would not play because it did not recognize the disc as a movie or audio cd. I dont know if im saving it wrong or what to do; when it asks about the saving options I clicked on recommended for space available on disc or something like that. I did notice that it always says cd instead of dvd so should i burn it with a different program? I have no idea how to make the dvd so that i can play it on my dvd player...please help!!

You get a new phone right, use the camera for a few days, use the mp3 for about a week till you see it's too small and the same song keeps repeating over and over (and you more then likely already have an mp3 of some kind) and then you realise that having all these bits and bobs on it just makes it the size of a brick in you pocket!? Who agrees with me that there is just no point in having these things put on your phone as it is a phone and not a part of batman’s utility belt?

When a CD plays, especially if the content is quiet, there is a persistant background noise similar to a motor running, However, if I remove the radio antenna, the noise changes to a whistle, but with the same oscillation.

Any help would be much appreciated

I am looking for something that will allow me to watch avi's and
listen to MP3s on tv, store files (as I'm running out of disk space on my laptop) and record programmes from the television (eg Freeview).

So far I have found things that do two of the above (a media player hard drive like http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=99078) but
I would have to buy a recorder separately like a PVR.

Is there something that can do all three of the above?

I just have cable and internet sevice but no phone. I have a cell phone so I really didn't need a house phone. Anybody know if there is a way to use it through Time Warner Cable service. :}

I have a Sanyo VHR-H790E video recorder with a auto clock adjustment setting, set to auto. It is supposed to adjust the time every Sunday at 3am, or 6am. But every Sunday when clocks change I have to do it manually why?
Am I supposed to leave it turned on?
Or put it in standby, the instruction book doesn't give that detail.

i just found my daughter with the charger end to my laptop in her mouth. when i took it away it was all wet. it was plugged into the outlet. it does have a big transformer but still can it electrocute? it's a tinny looking tube with a wire in it that hooks up to the laptop to charge it. thanks in advance,
