I just have cable and internet sevice but no phone. I have a cell phone so I really didn't need a house phone. Anybody know if there is a way to use it through Time Warner Cable service. :}

You should be able to use a fax if you subscribe to their VOIP system, but I guess that kind of defeats the purpose: VOIP is just an alternate form of land line, and costs almost as much.

I guess my answer is no, because fax machines expect to find a phone line (or VOIP equivalent) to send and receive faxes.

There are on line fax amenities yet they dont use your fax gadget. the only way for a fax gadget to artwork is on a land line (under pressure telephone gadget). Your fax gadget is not any extra advantageous than a telephone with a printer and scanner. IMHO, there is not any reason of the accepted consumer to even have fax. something you may fax, you may deliver with the aid of digital mail besides. Its particularly silly to pass with the aid of each and all of the worry to deliver a checklist with the aid of your fax, then dial a kind and pay for the call whilst all you gotta do is deliver it with the aid of digital mail for unfastened. the only reason to have you would be in case you dealt with a lot of information and persons mandatory copies..
