My NTL machine died. All that is showing on the box is virtical lines. I all ready switched of the machine at the mains to reboot but it is still not working. Is there any body out there that can help. I am desperate.!!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like its had it to me.. you may still get a few channels if you plug the NTL cable directly in to the back of the T.V . , you will have to change the connector type on the cable though. Just pull 1 off an old games cosole or video recorder.

pull the power cord out of the back but keep your finger on the channel down button untill you see 4 flat lies on the lcd ok .hope it works for you other wise phone ntl in the morn.best answer will tell me iy worked ha ha
