I use Win XP and Windows Media Player to burn backups of my CDs. This works fine for playing on my car stero system. But it's a no-go on my portable CD player and my Nakamichi wakeup CD player. My car player doesn't play mp3 files so I'm sure it's burning to standard CD format. Any thoughts?

I have connected my iPod, and my videos and music go on just fine. I have checked all the settings that need to be set, they are all right. When I try to 'Sync' my iPod, it goes through everything just fine and then it gets stuck on the photos part. iTunes just sits there and claims to be Syncing, even though it does not appear to be doing anything.

I have tried formatting through windows, resetting through iTunes, updating my software, used a different cable, different USB port (even though the last 2 shouldn't just affect pics)

So, How do I get iTunes to put pictures on, after all the settings are correct?

Ok so i'm thinking about getting a video ipod because i've had my nano for about a year now and itunes is currupt. so i heard videos are super nice so i was thinking about buying one of those. I already have money saved up for it because i was going to go to whistler this summer, but now i'm most likely moving so what's the point, so i just decided to get a video for the way down. I have a few questions though:

1. Which one is better the 30 gb or the 80 gb?
2. If you have a movie at home that you want on your ipod can you load it onto your comp. and transfer it to your ipod like picture?
3. How long does both 30 gb and 80 gb last?
4. Where's the best place to buy one? I've seen lots of good prices on new one's at craigslist. would that be a good place to get one?
5. how many songs does the 30gb and 80gb hold?

thanks in advance!

Anyone know exactly, or technically, which has better quality? Or are CD's and iTunes downloads virtually the same? If I'm importing a CD into iTunes, is the song's quality in iTunes going to be better, the same, or worse than if I bought the song from the iTunes music store?

At the moment I use a PC. I have all of my music stored on it and I transfer music from my PC to my iPod.
I've just bought a Mac and I am going to transfer all of my music from the PC to the Mac via an external hard drive.
Will I need to format my iPod for it to work to with the Mac or can I just plug it in as normal and manually transfer tracks.

I'm asking this because a couple of people have told me I'll need to wipe my iPod and reload all the tracks back onto it if I change from PC to Mac.
