I'm asking this question for a friend: Does anyone have expertise in iPods and iTunes? My iTunes seems to think 410 songs needs 217.98 GB, which, of course, no iPod has. Please help.

i just got an ipod and i have media monkey, but i can't put cds in to my ipod. it won't go into the ipod or if it does, it won't play(or it cut short the song). i tried to get i tunes and saved it into my flashdrive(i don't have internet) but once i try to put it in my computer it won't run at all. i clicked open and run but it still doesn't work. for media monkey, the only thing that works are those that are already in the mp3 format.

I recently got hold of a JVC L-E22 turntable record player, but when I plug the 2 phono leads into my HiFi amp the volume isn't very loud. If I turn the amp up full it can get to a decent volume, but I want it louder. Any ideas? Could it be faulty or is this normal?

why cant they combine the two? or make an attachment? does it have something to do with how the information is save since (i think) IPOD info is transfered from an existing location while pictures need to be done faster?

I am doing a research paper on Music Therapy. What came to mind while researching this topic was the fact that some people wear their MP3 players everywhere. So what I am trying to find out is why? Is it for looks? Is it so they have ready access to their music at all times? Or is it for other reasons? Tell me your reasons.

Is it possible to custom make your own radio? Like a home made Computer. All the new radios that Sony comes out with have CD players and Cassette decks. Were do you buy Cassette? I think Sony is thinking backwards instead of thinking forward. They should have a boombox with Hi-Md, MS, Memory Stick Micro, Memory Stick Duo options with usb connections instead thinking cd cassette boomboxes.

I have a second generation 4 GB iPod nano. It fell in the bathtub, and I got it out right away. I immediately turned it off and tried to get all of the water out. I now have it hooked up to my computer and it is charging but a few times this has popped up on it -- "FireWire connections are not supported. To transfer songs, connect the USB cable provided. Press Center to dismiss." The actual buttons are working, but the scroll wheel is going kind of wacky and is scrolling on its own. Is there hope that it will recover??? :(( And if it doesn't, would I have to buy a whole new one because I don't have a warranty, and I heard that if it is water damage they can't refund a new one. please help! :(
