My daughter wants an mp3 player but she has lots of cd's and I want to know if you can download them into a computer and then put them into the mp3 player?

I'm very confuse about it. If I check for CD's capacity (usually 700MB) is possible but it's time is not enough. for example each song take 3min of time, so if the songs is one hundred so it will take 300min. I've try every way to calculate it, but it doesn't work. please help!.

I received the text in an email but i can only save the file as an m3u file and when i burn the cd it doesnt work in my cd player. i tried downloading an MP3-WAV converter and it doesn't recognize m3u file types. I cannot burn it directly from either media player or music match b/c it's not saved as an mp3 on my hard drive. my regular burner will burn something to the cd - but not anything that i can play on my cd player. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the SLVR L7C, service thru Cricket, and when I upload MP3s to the memory card, not all of them show up. Why is that? How can I access them on my phone? It loads some of them, but not all, and some songs I cant even access in the MP3 player itself, I can only access them thru sounds. I even took all the files off the card and formatted it. How do I get it to load all the MP3s?

i put a mp3 cd in my audio player in my car and i don't have any subfolders so i can't skip to the song i want, i have to skip a lot of tracks in order to get to the song i want. so, i was wondering if it's bad to constantly skip tracks on my audio player? if you guys know a free software to burn mp3 players that has subfolders, please let me know

is it true that you are only able to upload music to your nano from one computer only? Example...hubby recently got this iPod nano and downloaded all this music to itunes on his computer and then uploaded to his nano...now he got an itunes gift card and wants to use it but cannot use on his computer but is able to use on mine. However evidently he cannot upload music from itunes to his nano from my computer without having to delete all his previous music?? because it is a different computer? if it sounds weird, welll this is how it is explained to me and he says he is right that this is how it is and i said i am going to ask you guys. Is this true can you only use one computer to get your music with the ipod nano?? if so..what a rip!

everytime i try to put them on it, it wont let me. i also went to my computer and tryed to find the songs from there but it shows a little icon at the top left that is a lock. how do i unlock them?

I hate the music at work and want something small I can carry and listen to my own music. I don't own a Mac computer and I don't want to have to pay for all my music a second time from an itunes-like company. I'd be perfectly happy if there was something not too expensive or big that could hold at least a couple of hundred songs off cds I already own. Is there anything like that out there? All I keep finding are big expensive fancy things or cheap little things that only mention you can download music off the internet. Can anyone please help?
