It was customised for a company and doesn't say which company produced it but I am sure it was made in Asia somewhere. A friend foolishly formatted the thing and now the programs on it are all gone. What do I do? The gift was for my dad and I borrowed it?

I've just installed iPod Disk to my MacBook. The reason is because I need to reinstall my OS due to some problems. I would like to know if I could use iPod Disk to transfer my music (3,600) from my iPod to my MacBook when the reinstall is complete. This is because I don't want to waste 5 DVDs just to back-up all my songs. Will this application do just that?

Thanks.

Are they better than they were? His last one w/o video (about 3 years ago) just died and no one would or could do anything about it. No he didn't drop it. So are the new ones better?

The thing is that I had a belt clip kinda loose now (just bought a new one), hence iPod fell like 3 times (not in a row) already from belt altitude, I'm 5'10" and it happen on uncarpeted floor. Being constantly using it and plays songs just fine so does importing new songs and PC totally recognize it. What will be failure signs of this since I can't listen 2500 songs straight?
Thanks! Any advise will be apreciated, any silly / ambiguos answer ("IDK" kinda stuff) will be reported!

Do Sony MP3 Players use software?
If so, is it possible for you to put songs on them without the software installed?

I was gonna throw some tunes in my iPod today, but when I connected the iPod it never showed up on iTunes or my PC, I checked the cable and I'm pretty sure its fine, I also checked all the USB ports and they're working fine, so I have no idea why it won't pick up the iPod. It's the first time this happens. I also restarted my pc and it still didn't work. HELP!!!

I'm going to buy a new turntable and am wondering if the amount of money I spend is likely to reflect the quality I receive. I have seen a Ministry Of Sound turntable secondhand for £45. Brand new this turntable is £80. Is Ministry Of Sound known as a good brand for turntables or am I better with some other choice.
