nothing in the library will play. If I inadvertantly moved some music files, how do I restore my library so all the songs play?

when i open a .wmv file with windows media player i get audio but no video but when i play the video in windows movie maker it works just fine.

I plugged in my ipod one day and something happened, and then it deleted most of my songs on my ipod. I had 250 songs or something and now it has 44. I've tried plugging in my ipod again so that the other songs and videos would go on to my ipod again, but it didn't go on it. So I pushed restore on itunes, and it restored it and junk, but it's still not working.
Then the other day i downloaded a song, and plugged in my ipod, but it didn't show up, it only shows up on itunes.
It's being really dumb right now.
then i pushed reset on the ipod, and i acdently put chinese as the language, and now it wont let me change it because when ever i plug in my ipod it says it can't be restored or something.
So do you think this has to do with the windows vista, or the itunes 7 or something?
what should i do!? I miss listening to my songs on my ipod, please help, thanks!!!!!!!!

My stereo broke when I was moving. I can play CDs in my computer CD drive but the sound isn't very good. Can I get good sound with better speakers or is the sound unlikely to compare to a stand-alone stereo system?

If upgrading speakers would work for my purposes, which ones would you recommend?

Please note that although I love music I am not an audiophile, so if I do buy a stand-alone stereo it's not going to be a fancy one.

for my ipod in January. I unpluged it from my wall to bring with me somewhere. I didn't use it the whole time. But when I plugged it back in (at home) it was completely dark, the screen said nothing. I tried pushing it into the wall because I thought maybe it wasn't in all the way. I put in fresh batteries. And today I noticed that the screen lit up. But nothing else happened. How do I get it to start working again, please I have tried everything that I could have thought of! Has this happend to anyone else here?

When do you think they will come out with a new Ipod Video (80 GB)? I want to buy one before I spend all my money but I dont want them to come out with a new one right after I buy it? It has been awile since the last, how much longer do you think it will be?

P.S. I know about the IPHONE and unless it can be used with Sprint I have no intrest... (Plus I want the BIGGEST one availiable for movies...not 6GB or some small crap like that)

I am TRYING to put text files fot my ipod and I was told to put text files in my notes folder on my ipod BUT there is no notes folder? and I did the "enable disk use" thing but still is not working? and I even unplug and plug in the ipod still nothing? pls help im so confused ????? thanks
