I plugged in my ipod one day and something happened, and then it deleted most of my songs on my ipod. I had 250 songs or something and now it has 44. I've tried plugging in my ipod again so that the other songs and videos would go on to my ipod again, but it didn't go on it. So I pushed restore on itunes, and it restored it and junk, but it's still not working.
Then the other day i downloaded a song, and plugged in my ipod, but it didn't show up, it only shows up on itunes.
It's being really dumb right now.
then i pushed reset on the ipod, and i acdently put chinese as the language, and now it wont let me change it because when ever i plug in my ipod it says it can't be restored or something.
So do you think this has to do with the windows vista, or the itunes 7 or something?
what should i do!? I miss listening to my songs on my ipod, please help, thanks!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Apple's still behind on getting an official release for iTunes out for Vista, but your problems sound like you're running iTunes 7.0.2 still. Try updating to 7.1 and see if that fixes your problems.

There are still some glitches, but you should be able to sync your iPod now with no trouble.

Is your itunes up to date? Check your itunes for updates and download the latest one they have (can be found when u click on HELP the scroll down). That alone has been known to solve some major issues. Also when you unplug your ipod use the unplug ipod in itunes and not the one in the task bar of your computer. Hope that helps!
