The thing is that I had a belt clip kinda loose now (just bought a new one), hence iPod fell like 3 times (not in a row) already from belt altitude, I'm 5'10" and it happen on uncarpeted floor. Being constantly using it and plays songs just fine so does importing new songs and PC totally recognize it. What will be failure signs of this since I can't listen 2500 songs straight?
Thanks! Any advise will be apreciated, any silly / ambiguos answer ("IDK" kinda stuff) will be reported!

Unfortunately, no iPod is able to resist being accidentally dropped. That part is entirely up to the user and/or whoever might be admiring it at the moment. It's just a little box-like object, and can't reasonably be expected to defy gravity for you.

As for damage, if you haven't seen any signs of wonky behavior yet, you're probably fine. It wouldn't hurt to do a full drive scan to see if there are any damaged sectors on the hard-drive platens (that should preven any bad sectors from being written to in the future.
