how many minutes of songs can 1gig ipod shuffle hold?

do i need to type slower? it is a simple question.

yeah it is simple, but there's not a simple answer.

The memory is based on size, not duration. The size of the file depends on the quality, type, and bitrate, etc.

Most songs that I dl are about 5mb and 4 minutes... i'm not sure.. is 1000mb=1gb? yeah. so i'd say about 800min? if they're all the same.. and they're NOT gonna be all the same.

Well, I can fit 1,000 on my 4gig.
