when i plug my ipod into the usb port on my p.c it isnt recognising it why? because my ipod mini work perfectly

You need the latest version of iTunes for the new iPods, including the Nano. New iPods DO NOT come with CDs. When you upgrade to the latest version of iTunes it will include the drivers for the newer iPods. After you upgrade, connect your Nano to the computer and it should install the correct drivers for it.

Did you install the disc for the ipod nano on your computer first?

Try upgrading your computer if it isn't already. That could be a big factor but you never know...your iPod could be rigged.

connect it and check 'safely remove hardware' in the bottom bar.. delete it and then plug it in again to reset it.............
