Help! My computer does not respond at all when I connect my MP3 to it?

I don't know what to do. My computer does not respond att all when I plug it in. Usually it will notify of new hardware.
Any ideas?

You need to download and install driver for your MP3 player, default driver may not supporting it.

well it depends how old your computer is maybe your ports are not updated to a 2.0 some mp3's requier it so check the ports.

Its cause it hasnt been installed so you have to go to control panel and click on add new hardware.
