No. Assuming that you are using iTunes to update your iPod, you can just drag and drop songs from your computer into the Music folder on your iPod. Of course, you will wind up with your songs in no particular order this way, so you might want to create some playlists, but it isn't necessary to do that.

No, you don't have to. Just drag your song file into the itunes library, and it should be on your iPod once you update it.

Just put the song in your library, then right click that song and click " add to playlist" then select your ipod. that sould do it

no just put them in ur library and hit update and u got ur songs
