80 minutes if you're using a wma file, you can get a whole lot more if its mp3 format but most cd players won't play mp3 cd's

There are "longer" version CDs that go up to 80 minutes, but they are not compatible with older CD players.
Note: these are CD music files (tracks), not MP3s. You can store alot more music using MP3 files, but they won't play on a CD player.

On the basic standard CD 80min can fit unless you are recording a DVD.
