hi gotaclearance! u can do this by setting up itunes to "manage music and videos manually."

do this on both computers:

1. open itunes then plug ur ipod into the computer. ** if itunes automatically starts the sync/update, cancel by clicking the "x" symbol at the top of the itunes window (right next to where the "updating ipod. do not disconnect" message appears) **

2. when u plug ur ipod into the computer, itunes displays a screen - on the Summary tab of this screen, check the box next to "manage music and videos manually".

** repeat steps 1 and 2 on the second computer **

3. now, on either computer u plug ur ipod into, go to the music library in itunes and manually drag-and-drop songs from the itunes library to ur ipod *or* from ur ipod to the itunes music library!

once ur ipod is set up for use on both computers, please please subscribe to my FREE video podcast on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=183309259
