If You Have iTunes (And If You Don't Have It GET-IT! (free @ apple.com)) Use The Preferences Panel (Advanced) To Change The "Bit-Rate" For Importing Songs (But Remember, The Lower The Bit-Rate the "Poorer" The Sound Quality) You Should Be Able To Get A Lot Of Songs On Standard 80Min. CD. But Again, You Will A Disc Player With Mp3 Capability.

If you want to listen to them in a stereo or a car stereo, make sure they play mp3s and CD-R/RWs otherwise the CDs won't play for you.

But here's a good CD ripper (freeware!) that will encode your files to mp3s:

you cant fit hundreds of songs on 1 cd. you would need several of them.

You can't fit hundreds. The most I have been able to fit was 30 and that was in WMA which is the LOWEST quality audio you can make.
